After 12 months of hard work, this week it has been confirmed that Castle Manor has been awarded Rainbow Flag status by the Kite Trust. We are incredibly proud to have achieved this status: the scheme recognises schools that show positive LGTBQ+ inclusion in their curriculum, policies, ethos and every day environment. Contributions have been made by all staff, students, governors but a particular shout out should go to Pride Alliance and Miss Neal whose work has been recognised by the Kite Trust and will be used as best practise examples for other schools.
