Castle Manor Academy

Careers

Castle Manor Academy ensures that every student receives personalised and independent advice and guidance. Our Careers Leader and Careers Advisor, Mr Course, supports and helps all students to make informed and aspirational decisions about their future. Mr Course can be contacted via email or alternatively on 01440 705501.

Our CEIAG programme is designed to support our students so that they can be successful in their next steps, when they leave us at the age of 16. It is our belief that providing high quality CEIAG has a positive impact on a students’ aspirations, learning and outcomes for the future. Throughout our CEIAG programme, supported through the tutoring programme and PSRE curriculum, students will learn more about careers whilst being provided with the opportunity to engage with employers during every academic year.

The full details of our CEIAG programme, including how the school measures and assesses the impact of our CEIAG programme can be found in our Careers Policy. To complete this process, we use the end of academic year CEIAG evaluations from our students, parents and staff, including event feedback from our valuable employers.

So that the school can develop its careers programme we track the destinations of former students and follow the number of students who stay in education, employment or training for at least two terms after Key Stage 4. The latest published data can be found on the school performance tables.  However, this is published two years after the cohort leave the school and therefore our own internal tracking of destinations can be downloaded in the link on the right.

If you believe you can add to or support our CEIAG programme through adding further career or learning opportunities, please see the Provider Access Statement in our school policies and contact us to make further arrangements.

If you are a parent or student you can find further information to support you with CEIAG by clicking on the relevant section below.
