Welcome to Geography
Geography explains the past, illuminates the present and prepares us for the future. What could be more important than that?’ Michael Palin 2007
We believe in a geography curriculum that can inspire awe and wonder for all of our students. Castle Manor Geography will provide students with new ways of thinking about the world. They will leave with powerful ways of analysing, explaining and understanding the world and be able to see beyond their own locality (whilst also having a clear understanding of how different processes and developments have affected their local area). Students will work hard to ensure that through an examination of their local area, they can feel proud of where they have come from. Whilst looking at different countries/continents, we will ensure different perspectives and experiences are covered so that an understanding of the diverse nature of the country/continent is developed as opposed to a narrow, often stereotypical view of a country.
